When Morgan made his return to "The Walking Dead," fans went crazy!

Now, fans will get to find out more about Morgan, played by British actor Lennie James, and what he might have been doing from season three, when he locked himself up in the a house, to now, when he has joined Rick's group at Alexandria Safe-Zone.

James revealed, in an interview with HeyUGuys.com that there will be a special 90-minute episode focused on Morgan's past.

"I think it's going to be (and I haven't seen the episode yet) an intense ride," James said about the flashback Morgan scenes. "It's very much going to be in keeping with the mythology of The Walking Dead, but is a very different kind of episode. It's almost like a standalone film, and I believe it's going to be shown as a 90 minute special."

James added, "Hopefully it's one that the fans will like. I know it's one they've been asking for for a long time, and we've done our best to handle it in a way which will hopefully be satisfying. It was a trip to shoot and an incredible experience. It's an amazing story, and if it's at all possible after 'Clear,' Morgan goes further into the hole before he finds his way out."

Fans are hoping that the special episode will be airing within the next few weeks. Some blogs are predicting that the special episode could be episode 4, which is titled, "Here's Not Here." AMC did announce that episode 4 will be 90 minutes long.

The synopsis for the episode, via IMDB, is very vague and short. It reads: "A new face appears in Alexandria while trust issues form within the community."

Before James teased the special episode, fans believed that episode 4 will be introducing one of the key new characters from the comics, Paul "Jesus" Monroe, played by Tom Payne. Since Payne is not listed as an actor on episode 4 (via IMDB), it seems like this episode will be taking fans back in time.

Episode 4 was written by Scott M. Gimple and directed by Stephen Williams.

"The Walking Dead" airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
