The fans of "Back to Future" all over the country have been anxiously waiting for 21st October 2015 since its sequel became a hit back in 1989. This meant that future will now be made available to millions of fans that included "Pepsi perfect". In Back to the Future II, character of Michael J Fox ordered the iconic drink in a café in 1980. To celebrate the future, Pepsi decided to seize the opportunity and make the drink a reality for all its fans. According to a statement by Lou Arbetter, Sr. Director Marketing at PepsiCo, he said that "Pepsi fans asked and we heard them loud and clear,". "The Back to the Future trilogy was as big a moment in pop culture history then as it is now, 30 years later. We are excited to be part of this moment and to bring fans something only Pepsi could deliver." Reports CBS News.

Owing to the growing popularity, Pepsi decided to release the Pepsi Perfect bottles, only 6500 of those by Wednesday morning. The 16.9 Oz bottles were made of real sugar and were sold via amazon and Walmart online for the ideal pricing of $20.15. However, the limited run of the bottles backfired as the fans expressed their rage online due to shortage of the drink. The fans have been waiting for this day since 1989 when the characters of Marty McFly and Doc Brown come into the future on 21st October 2015. In the memory of that epic scene, Pepsi decided to release a limited edition of the Pepsi Perfect bottles. But the ire of the fans was reasonable as the sales went up early without even properly marketing the event, robbing the fans of the only chance to own the bottle they have been waiting for since 1989, reported CNET.
