Fallout 4, the fifth major installment of the action role-playing video game series, is about to be released in just a few weeks. Before fans race to buy the game, here are four things fans can expect in regards to the release date.

1. U.S. Release Information

Bethesda, the developer behind the game, revealed earlier that the release time would be 12:01 am E.T. on the 10th of November. Gamers on the east coast who cannot wait to play the game can expect to stay up all night long. For people living on the west coast, the game will be available at 9 pm. on November 9th.

Fans who do not want to purchase the game digitally will have to camp out to buy the physical copy at a retail store. Best Buy will be hosting Fallout 4 launch parties at select locations throughout the U.S. GameStop has not announced whether or not they will be having any midnight release parties.

2. Release Information Outside of the U.S.

Based from the release information in North America, it seems like people in Asia will be able to start playing the game on November 11th at 12 a.m. (due to the time difference).

The release date in Japan, however, is a lot later. Fallout 4 will be available starting at 12 a.m. on December 17th.

3. Will there be a Pre-Load Event?

A Fallout 4 pre-load is expected to be announced ahead of the release date. Sony, Microsoft and Bethesda, however, have not mentioned anything about a pre-load at all.

4. File Size

Before people can start playing the game, there must be enough storage for it. Bethesda has already announced that the game will take up 28-35 GB. The total amount of space will depend on the territory and languages needed.

Fallout 4 will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
