Microsoft Surface Book is a Sell Out Online 2 Weeks before its Launch
If you want to pre-order the Surface Book online, you may have to face disappointment as all the models from baseline starting at $1,499 to top model priced at $2,699 are reportedly sold out on the Microsoft Online store. Even though you can still buy the laptop online, there is no guarantee that it will be available on the launch day on 26th October. If you are looking to buy the top most configuration of Core i7 with 16 GB RAM then you may have to wait longer than you like, reports Geek Wire. Since the pre-order started on October 7th on Microsoft online store, the laptops have been sold out.
Anytime you click one of the five models on the company's website, you get a message "Email me when available". The pre-order supplies of the device are already sold until restocking. The Windows 10 laptop that comes along with a detachable keyboard was available for pre-order from 7th October and will be available for buyers after its official launch on 26th this month. So far, only limited quantities of the laptop and surface book are available and the company will update the online stores with new dates as soon as possible, as per CNET.
Although the device is out of stock way ahead of its launch date, you can still place order on the Amazon store that shows strong market demand for the upcoming device. Microsoft is making smart devices like phones that can double as PCs, tablets that work as a laptop too and laptops that can be changed into tablets. All these devices will run on the same platform making user interface seamless and easy to use, says Tech Crunch. You can pick any of the options that serves your purpose best.
