Tupac Alive: Rapper Speaks In Prison Letters From The Beyond

Nearly 20 years after his death, Tupac Shakur's letters he wrote during his time in prison have been made public.

According to TMZ, Shakur declared in the letters to Death Row Records that the 'Thug Life' was dead to him and that some else must embody the thug life, which he prominently tattooed on his torso. He philosophically described various stages to life and that there is another level above the thug life, which he wanted his 'homiez' to know.

"A Boss Playa is a thinker, a leader, a builder, a moneymaker, a souljah, a teacher and most of all a Man!" Shakur said in the letter according to CNN Money.

Tupac had penned the letter during time in Clinton Correctional Facility for sexually abusing a fan. The letter was addressed to the He was convicted in 1995.

The letters are being sold by a purveyor for $ 225,000.

Tupac Shakur was shot in 1996, not long after release from prison. His death turned a mystery as there remained several unanswered questions including the identity of the killers. Many of Tupac's fans believe the rapper faked his death to escape his enemies and is still alive. A critically ill former cop recently claimed that Tupac Shakur paid millions to fake his death.
