Selena Gomez might be loving the single life but do not expect her to be on Tinder anytime soon.

The 23-year-old "Same Old Love" singer recently talked about her love life in the November issue of Flare magazine. Gomez, who just announced that she will be going on a world tour for her latest studio album, "Revival," revealed that even though she does go on dates, she is just really happy to be with herself.

"I would never go on Tinder! I think it would scare me. I go on dates," Gomez said with a laugh. "It's not that difficult - I'm a nice young lady. But that's not my focus."

She added, "I'm really stoked about being with myself right now."

Gomez talked about how time alone has helped her become a more independent adult.

"I feel confident, I feel empowered, I feel in control," she said in regards to making her own decisions, especially when it came to her album.

Before making the album, Gomez was subjected to a lot of body shaming. The young star had gained a little bit of weight and the entire Internet was ready to give her hell for it.

"I was getting criticized because I had gained weight," Gomez said. "I was really bummed when I found out all that stuff was going on, and that's when I was like, 'I'm so tired of feeling like I'm being pulled down by something' 'Revival' is the first song on the album, and the first lines are, 'I feel like I've awakened - the chains around me are finally breaking.'"

On top of the body shaming, Gomez was dealing with a lot of rumors regarding her and her on-and-off again boyfriend Justin Bieber. Regardless of all of this drama, Gomez was able to pick herself up and take control of the narrative.

The singer recently shocked fans by releasing another track from "Revival." Listen to "Me & the Rhythm" here:

The other two tracks that have been released from the album are "Good For You (ft. A$AP Rocky)" and "Same Old Love."

"Revival" comes out on Oct. 9.
