If the reports are to be believed, GTA 6 is rumored to be released not anytime before 2018. After GTA 5 made a roaring success, this is not exactly surprising. It is also rumored that couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes will feature in the game due to strong demand for a female lead in the game. The players may also see a huge map of United States in the game, as reported by Crossmap.

The Co-Founder of RockStar, Dan Houser, said in an interview with The Guardian, "In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course, we just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things we always think about."

Developers of the game always take a lot of time before they release another part of their series. They take as long as 5 years to come up with the next installment of the game. By that logic, since the previous version was released in 2013, the next one will most likely hit the market in 2018. The rumors, however, point to a 2017 release date, says MNR Daily.

GTA 6 gameplay will include entire USA in the gameplay map. These are only rumors so far but knowing RockStar game developers, this is not impossible for them. They have, however, quoted other reasons for improbability of such a feature. They say that to encompass an entire country in a game and then to allow players to move from one state to another can be boring and can make the game very slow. The more practical approach is said to be including an entire state rather than the country, reports Day Herald.

Although a GTA game takes full years to finish its next installment, but this time it looks like it may come out sooner, says Day Herald.
