‘Sense8’ Season 2 Update and Rumors: Will Love Within the Cluster become a Problem?
After getting renewed for another season, the Netflix hit sci-fi series, "Sense8," has been the subject of many rumors. Without any recent updates regarding the plot of season two, many people have started to come up with their own predictions.
One possible plot line that might be addressed is love within a cluster. The cluster includes eight sensates who are mentally and physically connected to one another. In season one, two couples - Will and Riley, and Wolfgang and Kala - started to pair up after becoming more and more connected. In one scene from "Death Doesn't Let You Say Goodbye," Yrsa, a sensate from another cluster who has been watching over Riley for years, told her that it is bad to fall in love within cluster.
"You feel very connected to this boy," Yrsa said. "This is very dangerous. Love inside a cluster is pathological."
Based from her statement, something bad could happen because of their relationships. The danger of love within a cluster was already seen in the season one finale when Will risked everything to save Riley. Will ended up making eye contact with Whispers, the villainous sensate who tracks down and kills clusters. Now, Will must find a way to continue to protect his sensates even though Whispers is in his mind. Previous sensates like Angelica who have seen Whispers have committed suicide to protect the other sensates.
For Kala and Wolfgang, the danger does not seem as apparent. However, if Kala breaks off her engagement with Rajan because of Wolfgang, there could potentially be some severe consequences.
Purab Kohli who plays Rajan recently talked about how his character is "too good to be true."
He added, "I'm hoping he reveals some shades of grey in the seasons to follow."
There is a possibility that Rajan goes into a jealous rage in season 2, which could threaten Kala or Wolfgang's lives.
Without any real and concrete details regarding the show, these predictions are just speculations.
"Sense8" should be returning sometime next year. Season one premiered on June 5th.
