WWE Rumors Roundup: Wrestler Suspension And Speculation Of The Shield Reunion
WWE has suspended wrestler Hornswoggle for 30-days following alleged Wellness Policy violations.
Dylan Postl, who goes by the name Hornswoggle, was suspended for use of illegal drugs, Inquisitr reports. This is the wrestler's first violation which earned him 30 days. Postl joins a long list of wrestlers, including Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton, who have been handed down suspensions.
WWE is known to assist its talent in seeking help to work around problems but has zero tolerance to violations. Every wrestler is allowed a maximum of three violations. The second and third violations carry 60 and 90 days suspension. The wrestling entertainment body has been making public all violations of its Wellness Policy in the hope that it would deter future violations.
In other WWE news, rumors of a possible 'The Shield' reunion are doing the rounds. Inquisitr reports given that only Seth Rollins has a title and the other members Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are without titles, the group could reunite to garner the attention it lost.
It is not known if WWE is planning a reunion but given that the tag team division was revived two years ago and that The Shield was brilliant as a team, a reunion is likely.
