She is a heroic teenaged mother who saved a 75-year-old.

Ashley Aldridge was preparing lunch for her one-year-old and two-year-old, when she heard a 75-year-old Earl Moorman, calling for her help.

She saw that he had got stuck in his electric wheelchair at the railroad crossing, Washington Street in Auburn, Illinois.

The 19-year-old tried to move the chair, but she could not. So she just pulled the 200-pound man away, just seconds before the Amtrak train crashed into the wheelchair.

"I was two seconds away from death. She's my guardian angel. She was sent there for a reason," Moorman said, according to the State Journal Register.

So Ashley Aldridge got a "Hometown Hero" award and also a supermarket shopping spree nearby in Chatham near Chicago, according to HNGN.

"I'm pretty excited because we haven't been able to buy a whole bunch of food for the kids. I'm glad I can finally make them real food and not macaroni and cheese all the time," Aldridge said at Chatham Country Market, where she collected $187 in free food.

"At first I knew where I wanted to go, then I didn't know. I was trying to figure out what to grab, and I was trying to hurry. This is great. I'm just glad they did this for us," Aldridge said.

Aldridge also got honored with an honorary black belt from a local martial arts school and free Amtrak tickets.

All her gifts have been useful, as recently her family got robbed of money meant to pay the bills of the house, reported Fox News.
