With the ever emerging trends and inclinations the current generation has not only benefitted themselves from the scientific evolution, but also replaced the conventional and traditional methods of life style. That is why tech freaks and the latest software originators are trying their best to bring in up-to-the-minute modifications within the old formats and systems.

Seems like the current users of Moto X are about to receive a good news as it is on the verge of entertaining the current, modern software which is the Android Lollipop. The basic Moto X was released two years back, which means it still incorporates conventional technology, but thanks to the developers, if you are still maintaining a Moto X, that too from 2013, it's your lucky day!

The handset is about to receive Android 5.1 Lollipop, provided their phones are still running on Verizon. The reports are publicized by Droid-Life, which proves that a soak test is in progress and if the experiment turns out to be just fine, there is a great possibility that the useful package might be rendered to everyone. Verizon along with Motorola are testing the update and hopefully things will be go according to the plan.

The soak test will make sure of all the nitty-gritties and examine all the profound aspects within the entire structure, before it goes public. The test can take up to a week that is why a proper, official date has not been revealed. This could be Moto's last Android update as according to the recent rumors the handset will no longer accept Android M Marshmallow.

Moto's users are keeping an eye on all the existing news and updates regarding their handset as they are eagerly waiting for this new transition. It can allow them to access various applications and other features that were once concealed to them.

This transition is going to please the Motorola users as this update can bring in new dimensions on their gadgets.
