Fans of the "Fast and Furious" franchise have grown so accustomed to watching Vin Diesel, the late Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and the rest of the cast that imagining anyone else in those roles would be almost near impossible. However, an article from MoviePilot just reminded everyone how different the cast could have been.

Here were the actors that were considered for the very first movie:

Brian O'Connor

When people hear the name Brian O'Connor, they will always remember Walker, even if his younger brother, Cody, had to fill in for him in "Furious 7" after his untimely and unfortunate death.

But before Walker landed the role as O'Connor, the other favorites included Eminem, Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg.

Luke Hobbs

The character of Luke Hobbs could have gone a completely different route. The character of Hobbs, who is played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, was reportedly written with the actors, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin in mind.

Mia Toretto

The role of Mia Toretto, who Jordana Brewster plays, could have gone so many different ways. According to Movie Pilot, several actresses were being eyed to play Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto's sister. These actresses included Natalie Portman, Bijou Phillips, Jessical Biel, Kirsten Dunst and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Aside from these could-have-been roles, Densel Washington was reportedly offered a major role for the most recent "Fast and Furious" movie, "Furious 7." Washington, however, turned down the character, whose details remain unknown.

Even though the main cast will be returning for "Fast 8," several new actresses have been linked to the project. These actresses include Helen Mirren, Cara Delevingne and Ruby Rose.
