Has Anna Duggar forgiven husband Josh or is she simply keeping mum fearing consequences of speaking against the 'man of the house' in a highly conservative community? New reports claim it could be the latter.

Quoting a source close to the family, People reported that Anna Duggar has refused to get angry at her husband as she believes it is not 'godly' for a woman to do so. She may be toeing the line given the norm of the community she married into, which believes a woman most submit to her husband.

"Ever since she met [the Duggars] she has acted more like Michelle. She talks like her, really soft. She, like, whispers," the source said.

To seek guidance, Anna does not have anybody other than the Duggars and her parents, who are asking her to turn to faith, the source rued. Her siblings, particularly her brother Daniel Keller who called Josh Duggar a 'pig', have assured Anna support should she leave him.

Social media is awash with comments about Josh Duggar's conduct while advising Anna she should separate from her husband.

"Anna, you need to run, girl. Run and don't look back. Think about your children. Do you really want them to grow up thinking that their daddy's behavior is acceptable?" said one commenter Joanna Lyons on Facebook page of Josh & Anna Duggar.

Anna Duggar has stayed in the Duggar household with her children even as her husband is being treated for sex and porn addiction at Reformers Unanimous, a religion based rehabilitation facility in Illinois.

"Success defined by being free from destructive habit... They no longer fall prey to that. Second definition is that they are employed. Third is getting involved, and attending a local church. Local church is God's support group and that is important to recovery," said Tony Richardson, the institute's director, according to Inquisitr.
