Watch: A Family Of Mama Roach And 25 Babies Discovered In Man's Ear

He is Chinese, but the cockroaches aren't racist, at least. They had inhabited his ear---all 25 of the happy roach family.

The man in the Chinese city, Dongguan, visited the doctor due to earache. He had a shock when he was told that 26 cockroaches lived in his ear.

It was headed by a mother roach with 25 babies, according to Mirror. She had laid 25 eggs in his warm ear, and they were all thriving.

The 19-year-old Mr. Li had suddenly woken up at midnight when his ear began to itch and ache. After he went to the hospital, the doctors found the horrifying source, but took some time to count them.

Yang Jing, a doctor at Chang'an Xiobian Hospital explained that when he peered into the ear, he "saw an insect-shaped object blocking his ear canal completely."

Several weeks earlier, the insect had crawled into his ear and laid eggs. Thankfully, Li went to the doctor on time, or his ear "would have been destroyed", according to hngn.

Cockroaches are pesty to humans, but they are winners, for they are able to survive anything----including nuclear war, say studies.
