The feud between Sophia (Laverne Cox) and Gloria (Selenis Leyva) will continue in season 4 of Netflix's "Orange is the New Black."

Cox teased, during an interview with TV Guide that Sophia and Gloria's relationship will still be filled with tension, especially after Sophia got sent to the SHU (security housing unit), which is also known as solitary confinement, supposedly for her own protection.

"I can't imagine. As a viewer watching, seeing how much remorse Gloria has, I always like to believe there's a potential for forgiveness, but it's pretty bad. This is really, really bad," Cox said.

Leyva added a more optimistic view of the whole situation

"We don't know what's coming yet... But they are good people, and you see that individually. The audience got to see that these women are having conflict. And it's not about personal attack on each other. It's more about their children, and how they're desperately trying to hold onto some kind of control," Leyva said.

In season 3, drama between Sophia and Gloria began when their children started to hang out after Gloria asked Sophia if their sons could travel together during their trips to the prison. After the kids started to hangout and became friends, Sophia's son, Michael, began to curse and get into fights. Sophia then accused Gloria's son, Benny of being a bad influence. Tempers immediately flared between the two women.

At the end, Gloria appeared to feel guilty for getting Sophia locked up in the SHU. However, her guilt will apparently not be enough to fix the broken friendship.

Season 4 of "Orange is the New Black" will premiere in 2016.
