Sweet and innocent Winnie the Pooh who loves nothing more than honey is just too scandalous for a Polish playground.

Officials in Tuszyn, central Poland have even spoken out against Winnie the Pooh author AA Milne, describing him as 'disturbing'.  They banned Winnie the Pooh Councilors Pooh saying the bear is of 'dubious sexuality', is 'inappropriately dressed' and is 'half-naked'.

"The problem with that bear is it doesn't have a complete wardrobe. It is half naked which is wholly inappropriate for children," Councilor Ryszard Cichy said during a Tuszyn town meeting in Poland.

The criticism against Winnie the Pooh began after the town started searching for a special mascot for their new children's playground and one of the attendees suggested the popular creation.

"It doesn't wear underpants because it doesn't have a sex. It's a hermaphrodite," another unnamed councilor was caught saying.

"It is half naked which is wholly inappropriate for children. (Poland's fictional bear) is dressed from head to toe, unlike Pooh who is only dressed from the waist up."

They also criticized the author   AA Milne ."This is very disturbing but can you imagine! The author was over 60 and cut (Pooh's) testicles off with a razor blade because he had a problem with his identity."

Another councilor referred to Pooh as a "hermaphrodite" while Ryszard Cichy added: "The problem with that bear is it doesn't have a complete wardrobe."

According to The Independent, the town has yet to appoint a patron to the playground, but we can all be damn sure that the one selected will have the decency to cover up its nonexistent genitals.
