A British study reveals individuals who suffer from a neurodevelopmental condition, known as Autism are generally more imaginative and incorporate the ability to think outside the box. According to a British research, the concept of ingenuity and thoughtfulness goes hand in hand with autism, as a syndrome. Autism cases have proved to be more artistic and inventive if compared to those individuals without the condition.

The link was established when a thorough research was carried out which implicated 312 people as part of the entire procedure. The highlighted group was then exposed to multiple online tests, exploring facts about autism and whether the listed individuals have the stated condition or certain traits of autism. The test initiated when participants were exposed to an assorted number of images, which were intended to be seen in more than one way. They were subjected to an assortment of pictures, which had more than one perspective, for example, a picture of a duck or a rabbit. The participants were accordingly examined from the process by allowing them to have one minute to state the uses and implications of objects that fall under the daily use.

The results of the study were merely alarming. According to the physicians, those who displayed the symptoms of the disease and individuals with autism, proved to be more creative and full of perspectives. As per the lead author present in the University of Stirling in the UK, Dr. Catherine Best gave a positive response and established that people with autistic traits are more likely to put in effort therefore, producing thoughtful and exceptional answers. Their thinking approaches are more diverse than those who are autistic-free and their viewpoints are not based on evident meanings and connotations.

According to the researchers, 75 individuals showed clear and obvious traits of autism, whereas 237 people remained undiagnosed. However, there were certain individuals who displayed autistic traits during the process. The participants were also exposed to a variety of abstract images, which proved that autistic individuals are more likely to give detailed and meticulous comebacks. Their responses are not only resourceful, but also inventive to the maximum extent.

These individuals might face obstacles in the way of communicating and initiating social process, but their fewer answers prove their originality and precise thinking patterns. Therefore, they are needed in equal amounts as without their desired creativity, we would lose essential personalities in the field of arts, sciences and music.
