Taylor Swift is reportedly writing a love song for her British DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris. According to the rumors, Swift was so touched and grateful that Harris defended her against Zayn Malik's jab against her via Twitter.

"Taylor wants to do something special for Calvin to show him how appreciative she is," an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com. "She's been working on a love song for Calvin but couldn't finish it. His heroics might have been just the inspiration she needed!"

The feud between the two British men started when 22-year-old Malik retweeted a message posted by the account, @Female Texts that suggested that Swift was in the music industry online to make money. The message compared Swift and Miley Cyrus's very different opinions on selling albums.

The "Bad Blood" singer stated that fans who were disappointed that she removed her albums from Spotfiy can still get her album through iTunes. Cyrus on the other hand said that she has already made her money and does not feel the need to sell albums.

Harris, 31, was not too happy to see Malik's retweet. He wrote in a series of tweets:

"@FemaleTexts @zaynmalik You've made your money? Cool...f*** the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive right? Yeah f*** em."

"If u don't get what it means when a successful artist uses their celebrity to benefit every other musician and songwriter in the industry..".

Malik responded to Harris, telling him that he clearly did not understand his point. Harris then put the feud to rest by complimenting Malik on his "great voice." Harris wanted to defend Swift but was not going to let the comments get to him too much.

"She's incredibly touched that Calvin stuck his neck out there for her," the HollywoodLife.com insider added. "He did it all on his own without Taylor saying anything. He knew the whole Spotify controversy is a real sensitive issue with her, and didn't like Zayn stirring the pot. It's made her fall more in love with him. She's never had this kind of love and support in a relationship before."

Swift has not commented on the latest feud.
