In a CBS News show, an investigative scribe takes on the bigwigs of the mainstream media.

Just a few corporations---only six---keep a control over 90 percent of the media, she said. So almost everything heard over the radio, news, and TV is controlled by these six: General Electric (GE), News-Corp, Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, and CBS., according to collective-evolution.

This has been obvious since Operation Mockingbird, a CIA-based initiative to manage the media came into operation. Most people feel that almost everything we see in the media is just "brainwashing". A lot of blatant lies are splashing over the TV screen, especially on issues related to "health, food, war ("terrorism"), poverty and more".

Many celebrities have put up a voice to oppose this. For instance, Roseanne Barr, said that MK Ultra, a CIA program that is using mind control and experiment methods to control humans "rules" Hollywood.

Veteran investigative journalist and Former CBS NEWS investigative reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, explain how "astroturf," or fake grassroots movements, funded by political, corporate, or other special interests can "very effectively manipulate and distort media messages".

"Have you ever tried to adjust a minor error on Wikipedia, within minutes an anonymous editor reverse it. They reverse everything what is against the agenda. Have you ever wondered why Infowars is still doing great, have you never wondered why nobody ever have tried to murder Alex Jones (I'm not talking about the fake man in white after the Pierce interview)? Have you never wondered why he's sharing so much fruit?" according to lionsgroundnews.

Hence, as it is full of clever marketing tactics, it controls public opinion and popularity. Watch Sharyl Attkisson's message in the video below.
