Determining the cause of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death could be difficult given the time gap between her accident on January 31 and her death on Sunday.

According to Reuters, the initial autopsy revealed no visible signs of injuries that could be attributed to the 22-year old's death. Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was found facedown at her Georgia home by her long-time love Nick Gordon and a friend. While the exact cause of death was not known, speculation is rife that Gordon and Bobbi Kristina had an argument on the fateful night, leading to irreversible brain damage. Fulton County Police are investigating the incident but have not charged anyone.

"The initial portion of the autopsy has been completed. The autopsy does not show an obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted. No previously unknown medical conditions that could have contributed to death were identified. Additional laboratory testing will be performed," the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office reportedly said in a statement according to 11Alive.

Subpoenas have been issued to gather more information. The medical examiner's office is also set to conduct further investigative tests and will conclude the cause of death only after all efforts have been made to determine the cause.

Though the police have not filed any criminal charges, a $ 10 million lawsuit against Gordon was filed in a Fulton County court by Bobbi Kristina's legal conservator. The lawsuit alleges that Gordon had abused Bobbi Kristina and stole money from her account when she was in coma.
