Some members of the High School musical reunite in full support for the musical's director Kenny Ortega in his upcoming new Disney Channel original movie, Descendants.

In an Instagram post, the director posted a groufie of the former Wildcats Corbin Bleu (Chad Danforth), Monique Coleman (Taylor McKessie), Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay Evans), Lucas Grabeel (Ryan Evans), and Olesya Rulin (Kelsi Nielsen), Entertainment Weekly said.

Ortega who posed with the High School Musical team captioned the photo saying, "What team? Wildcats! And how I love you all! Thank you for celebrating with me."

Monique Coleman also shared the snap in her social media.

"But first, let us take a #selfie! #Descendants Premiere supporting @kennyortegablog & #DisneyChannel #stillinthistogether."

Ashley Tisdale, who is now happily-married, also talked about the event in her Instagram, E! Online said.

"All of us supporting the guy that changed our lives. So proud of @kennyortegablog on his big night," the actress wrote.

In another post, Coleman further gushed about the excitement she felt being with former HSM friends.

"Tonight was indescribable! I don't have enough words to describe how amazing #Descendants was or how proud we all are of @kennyortegablog and the incredible cast!! "#KennyOrtega is a visionary & he captured pure magic on the screen! I'm so grateful I got to share tonight with my framily! #wildcatreunion #HSM," she explained.

Unfortunately, Troy and Gabriela could not be seen in the groufies as Zac Efron is currently in the middle of his latest movie project "Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates."

Vanessa Hudgens, on the other hand, is also busy with her Broadway show, "Gigi," MTV said.

E! further provide details why the two stars did not have the chance to share the fun with Wildcats friends saying that Zac is promoting his movie 'We Are Your Friends' and Hudgens in promoting Beauty Coach.
