According to the website Design&Trend, star of the popular HBO series Rachel McAdams confirmed that she is thinking about a role in Marvel's 'Doctor Strange.'

During the Los Angeles Times interview with the actress, she reportedly said "It is still super-early days, and I don't know where that is gonna go, if it is gonna go anywhere at all."

Recently, sources had revealed that the female lead role in 'Doctor Strange' had been offered to Rachel McAdams but neither her nor the production company of the upcoming movie had confirmed the rumors.

If McAdams accepts the role, she will be working with Benedict Cumberbatch who will star as the male lead role. It is also confirmed that Tilda Swinton will be in the cast, playing The Ancient One. The movie will be directed by Scott Derrickson and is scheduled to be released on November 4, 2016.

Although McAdams does not have experience in comic book characters and have not taken similar roles in the past, it is reported that she is really into comic books. In the past, the actress was offered to play Pepper Potts in the 'Iron Man' but she had turned it down for undisclosed reasons. The role later went to Gwyneth Paltrow.

Reportedly, McAdams told Los Angeles Times that if she refuses a play a part in a movie, it is usually because of her "pickiness." She said: "It is often out of my own insecurity. If I am pick, it is for that reason. I want to be able to bring my best to the table. So If I am not connecting to something, then I am not gonna hold up my end of the bargain, and that is really embarrassing," Design&Trend reported.
