Facebook has tinkered again with its news feed algorithm to show its users more videos similar to ones they expand to full-screen, un-mute or opt to watch in HD.

If you take afore-mentioned actions, Facebook will take it for granted that you loved the video, even if you didn't like, share or comment.

Those same signals will tell Facebook that a video is enjoyable so the News Feed shows it to more people, TechCrunch reported.

According to reports, the daily view count of Facebook videos has crossed four billion per day.

The update comes just after Facebook overhauled its video analytics offering for Pages.

Meanwhile, Facebook has added 10-second threshold for video ads, which means advertisers will have an option to only pay for video ads that have been watched for at least ten seconds.

Earlier, advertisers had to pay as soon as the ads came into view. Facebook will still keep this CPM-based option in addition to adding a 10-second threshold, which should help the company to sell some of its inventory at higher prices, report by Toronto Sun noted.
