Bing's New Video Search Is Surprisingly Good

Bing's video search has been updated with a new design that makes it easier and faster to find the videos users are looking for. Apart from a new look, the search engine has also added new information for each result, such as the channel it comes from, the number of views it has, and upload date.

The redesign is music-centric and has several additional features that appear only when a user searches for a song.

On the search results page, now there are larger thumbnail images. The number of videos per row changes based on the screen size of the device you're viewing on.

Underneath every thumbnail you can see the meta data such as channel, number of views, and so on. Users can also filter the search results based on length of the video, date, resolution, source, and price.

On hovering the video search results, Bing automatically plays a short preview of the video, making the user experience better than Google and even YouTube.

On the bottom of the search results page, Bing also provides top suggestions for the searched query.
