Julia Stiles will be coming back to reprise her role as CIA technician Nicky Parson in the upcoming Bourne Identity film franchise, Bourne Identity 5.

According to Deadline, the 34-year old act will be joining Matt Damon who will play his titular role as Jason Bourne, the assassin who woke up with an amnesia not knowing anything about his previous life.

Nicky Parson appeared in the first three films of the Bourne Identity franchise under Universal Pictures as a covert CIA agent who helped Jason Bourne.

Stiles reprisal is the first to be announced but it was hoped that Joan Allen will be back for the next sequel while Ex Machina star Alicia Vikander is also reported to have been asked for a role.

She is represented by ICM Partners, Untitled and Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern.

IGN reported that Viggo Mortensen is also rumored to play a villainous role as an assassin haunting Jason Bourne in a previous Twitter post by The Wrap's Jeff Sneider.

"BREAKING: VIGGO MORTENSEN offered bad guy role in next BOURNE movie," the post said.

As for Stile's role, the tabloid speculated that Parson and Jason Bourne might have a connection in Bourne's past life before he got the amnesia as hinted in The Bourne Ultimatum.

No further plot details are available as of the moment.

Julia Styles and Matt Damon will be working with screenwriter Paul Greengrass and producers, Christopher Rouse and Frank Marshall with Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment, Empire Online reports.

The film, which is announced in 2014, will be released on July 29, 2016.
