No! Macaulay Culkin is not dead - take it from the man himself.

The internet went haywire Saturday evening after a website published a fake story of Culkin's death with the headline "Breaking News: Macaulay Culkin Found Dead at Age 34." The story got nearly 37,000 Facebook likes and 20,000 tweets on Twitter.

"Sources are reporting that Macaulay Culkin, best known for his role as Kevin McCallister in 'Home Alone' and sequel 'Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,' has been found dead at the age of 34," the report read.

"Multiple unconfirmed reports say Culkin was found dead Friday afternoon in his Manhattan apartment after police responded to a wellness check requested by a family member. At least one occupant of the Manhattan apartment confirmed the apartment belongs to Culkin but police have not confirmed the man's identity at this time," the story added.

The story catapulted Culkin to the top of Google search trends and while that fuelled "The Pizza Underground" rocker's fame, Culkin decided to put off the rumors in style.

Culkin posted a photo of himself, where one of his bandmates was dragging his limp body. Of course he was acting dead there!

He captioned the photo, "Weekend at bernies with @anchovywarhol #greenroom"

Culkin also posted another picture of himself on the band's instagram page captioning it: "We're on tour you silly people"

Culkin was in Texas performing at the Fun Fun Fun Fest and apparently his first words were, "I'm Alive."
