Newlyweds George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are still going strong.

Several media outlets reported that the Hollywood heartthrob brought his wife to his hometown in Kentucky for a family reunion. At the event, Amal, who is a human rights attorney, was able to meet members of Clooney's family who could not attend their wedding back in September 2014 in Venice, Italy.

"He was really excited to introduce her to those who didn't go to the wedding or didn't know much about her. He's proud. They are a loving couple and he seemed very proud," a source revealed to E! News

Amal was also able to see where Clooney grew up in Augusta.

"George grew up around here," Russell Dickson, the co-owner of Magee's Bakery, said. "They both ordered transparents. It's also called clear pie or cellophane pie. It's made of eggs, butter, sugar and milk. It was her first time having one and she absolutely loved it. She mentioned she's just become a fan of country breakfasts, biscuits and gravy."

Dickson added, "His family has been a customer for years, so I kind of half grew up with him always hanging around the bakery. He stops in maybe once a year or so."

Clooney was reportedly in town for his annual family visit. During his trip, he was reportedly seen playing basketball at the Augusta High School gym with students when he was not hanging out with his family.

Several snaps of the couple have surfaced. Here are some below:
