Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Release Date and Rumor Roundup: Upgraded Exynos Processor, Ultra HD display and More

Summer is approaching, and so are the rumors and speculations around the Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note 5. Galaxy Note 4, launched last September, has been the most successful Note yet.

According to rumors, the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 will sport an upgraded Exynos processor, a quad-HD or Ultra HD display and new camera features that include exposure controls similar to those included on Apple's latest iPhones.

According to Gizbot, the phablet could be powered by an octacore Snapdragon 810 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM.

In terms of battery, Note 5 could have a 4000 mAh battery battery cell, and ultra-battery saver mode and might run Android L, out of the box. It will definitely get upgraded to M, however.

Galaxy Note 5 Release Date

According to a report by TechTimes, Galaxy Note 5 could be launched in September, like Note 4. However, some reports indicate that it's going to launch in late July. Samsung might be looking to put the device in competition with the upcoming iPhone 6s Plus.
