Windows 10 Release Date Update: Next Windows OS To Launch End-August, Home Version To Cost $111

The exact release date for Windows 10 is yet to be revealed, but according to an online retailer, the next Windows OS will be available on 31st August.

The online retailer, newegg.com, which sells computer hardware and software is now taking pre-orders for Microsoft Windows 10 Professional and Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM System Builder packages at $149.99 and $109.99 respectively.

Since, these informations are being tipped by a third-party online reseller, the official price of the Windows 10 editions might differ.

Back in April, AMD President and CEO Lisa Su had let slip that Windows 10 would be made available in late July.

Microsoft, has announced that the new OS will be available this summer in 190 countries and 11 languages.

Versions of the new operating system include: Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Education, and Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise.

The Redmond-giant clarified that it will not offer a Windows 10 upgrade to users of non-genuine Windows copies, instead, it would provide an upgrade path.
