Nvidia recently unleashed a new flagship graphics card that would deliver (better) 4K graphics for PC gamers, and a new G-Sync screen technology for smoother gaming on laptops.

At the formal opening of the Computex 2015 trade show, Nvidia showcased GTX 980 Ti. According to the company, new graphics card will deliver better support for 4K PC gaming, allowing new games such as The Witcher 3 to run at 4K resolution at a reasonable 45 frames per second, compared to 19fps on the older GTX 680.

The price of the newly graphics card has been set for $649 for US. Notably, the new card comes bundled with the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight for PC.

With the launch of a newer flagship, the company has dropped the price of the former flagship model, the GTX 980, down to $499.

In terms of technology, the new graphics card is powered by Nvidia's in-house tech - Maxwell microarchitecture. It supports the latest DirectX 12 effects and packs in more video RAM as well.

G-Sync for Notebooks

Along with a new graphics card, the company also announced that the new gaming notebooks powered by the graphics card will have G-Sync. G-Sync is Nvidia's own solution for the problem for screen tearing.
