The New Face of Marc Jacobs is Cher
Marc Jacobs announced on Instagram that Cher will be the new face of the label's Fall/Winter 2015 campaign, shot by David Sims.
Jacobs himself revealed the news via Instagram on Wednesday, making Cher the latest in a thankfully growing line of older yet equally glamorous women being chosen to spearhead major fashion campaigns.
The iconic singer is the star of the brand's autumn/winter 2015 campaign, the first image from which was released via Jacobs's personal Instagram account today.
"The amazing and beautiful CHER! Photographed by David Sims for our Fall/Winter campaign," he commented alongside the image of Cher robed in black and sitting in front of red backdrop, before teasing: "This is just the beginning.... More to come!!"
This isn't the first time that Marc has used a muse over the age of 50. He has also worked with actress Jessica Lange, 66, on his beauty range.
