Google’s Chromebook Gains Popularity: 2015 Sales Up by More than 20 Pct

Google Chromebook has been the one of the prime competitors for laptops working on the windows platform.

The Google Chromebook are note books that work on the Chrome Operating system and all other applications such as Google Docs, Google Drive, and other applications, work on the Chromebook.

However, since the launch of the Asus Chromebook, they have not been very prominent in the global market. Some research proves that Google Chromebook is preferred by only a particular or selected group of individuals in the market.

But one interesting feature of the Google Chromebook is that, the Chromebook works on the free operating system, i.e., users don't have to pay for the operating software, which is a must in case of gadgets working on the Windows platform.

According to a study by Gartner, a market research firm, the sale of Google' s laptops, working on the Chrome Operating system is expected to hit higher points on the graph. The research says that the sale of Chromebook will reach 7.29 million units worldwide this year.

Therefore, the global sales of the Google's Chromebook will elevate up to 21.4 percent, compared to the last years sale globally.
