Mama June Shannon is very happy to announce on Instagram that her 9-year old daughter Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson has lost 9 pounds lately.

In a report by People, the reality TV star wrote a long message on her social media page that comes with a picture of the Honey Boo Boo stepping on the weighing scale and giving out a thumbs up for her latest weight loss achievement.

Shannon gave credits to the supervision of the fitness trainor Natasha Fett and some healthy modifications in diet and exercise for her daughter.

In a previous episode by The Doctors, Mama June was booed by the studio audience for allegedly not doing anything on her daughter's unhealthy weight which has reached nine stones, Mirror said.

Back in February, the show's management also gave Mama June a bicycle for her workout, a chef who prepared healthy meals for them for six weeks and cooking appliances supposed to encourage her to cook healthy food.

In a report from Inquisitr, Mama June faced a confrontation with the show's host, Dr. Travis Stork and his other co-hosts.

We sent you all these kitchen tools to help you cook and they're still in the boxes, haven't even been opened," Dr. Travis told Mama June.
