After Google has announced their upcoming sled driven cars, the company is now all set to introduce the cars on the streets.

Google placed their self driven cars for a long duration of tests, which have the cars run almost for 10,000 miles on their own every week.

The company has now confirmed that the self driven car, i.e, the self driving bubble car prototype is now ready for the public use.

The search giant has now planned to introduce removable steering wheel, accelerator and break paddle, though the car is self driven, in order to ensure that the car is in control even when the things get a bit hairy.

The motive of the self driving car is to ensure the operations completely free from human interactions, considering the incoherent conditions on the road.

The prototype has undergone the same testing that its modified self driving Lexus RX450h SUV's went through. The car would touch up to a speed of 25mph and not more than that, in the mountainous regions. The self driving car is yet to be familiarized with the stopping distances and navigation is congested areas.

However, Google may have already overcome the technological obstacles. Manual controls are an add on's to the Google cars.

The impact of the Google's self driving cars on the streets is yet to be seen.
