Google's search results to include twitter tweets, in the future.

Google and twitter planning to team up and introduce twitter tweets for the Google's search engine.

For instance, if a person Google's for 'Taylor Swift', then the search results would also include the latest tweets by #taylorswift, and also the latest updates regarding the same.

The introduction of Twitter in Google search engine is in a way advantageous to Twitter, as this would bring more users to visit Twitter. This would also attract non-twitter users. The San Francisco based company is under pressure to grow its user base and prove its relevance. This move by Google and Twitter is towards amplifying the number of twitter users.

Twitter has said, "By deeply integrating Twitter's real time content into Google search, we hope you find it easier than ever to explore your interests across both Twitter and Google".

The Google search results would display links of twitter on the search subject. On clicking the twitter link, the users shall be directed to the twitter page of the concerned subject. Non twitter users can also access the twitter pages. On the other hand, this also helps users to discover additional information on the subject.
