Kanye West has learned how to embrace his haters. During his long and very censored performance of "All Day" and "Black Skinhead" at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 17, the 37-year-old rapper did not flinch at the roaring boos that he received. Instead, he used the energy to fuel his performance.

"Kanye didn't even realize he was being booed a first, but when he did, he considered it a badge of honor. He actually laughed about it!" an insider said exclusively to HollywoodLife.com. "He thinks that if he is getting any reaction, then that is the best thing that can happen - silence would be much worse! He loves the haters, and they really make him thrive. His ego is off the charts, and hearing and feeling people's raw emotion is right up his alley."

Kanye's performance looked amazing with fire and sparks everywhere. Fans at home, however, were unable to enjoy it because the majority of the lyrics had to be bleeped out due to explicit content. Kanye reportedly was not upset by the censorship.

"That's happened before, but Kanye is just going to continue performing his songs his way. He's not going to have anyone change his artistic expression," HollywoodLife.com's source explained. "He's okay with the beeps because it gets people talking about his performance and wanting to see an unedited clip. He's using it all to his advantage!"

Kanye was not the only one who was forced to perform over the loud boos that night. His sisters by marriage, Kendall and Kylie Jenner had to introduce his performance over the roaring audience as well. Despite the deafening noise, the sisters remained calm and got through their dialogue.
