Iggy Azalea Debuts Pink Hair Tips At Billboard Music Awards; New Locks For New Album
Iggy Azalea shows off, for the first time, her new hairstyle as she cut her previous blonde locks in shoulder length and highlighted it with pink tips.
In an interview with E! Online, the Fancy singer said that her idea of getting a new hairstyle comes out naturally while she is preparing for the release of a second album.
"I'm having an image overhaul. I'm recording my second album and I felt like I need a change of hair and change of style. I'm feeling very revamped," she said during the Billboard's red carpet moment.
Iggy is performing together with Britney Spears as both of them introduced their new single "Pretty Girls", which according to Time, is a means to promote Spears' ongoing residency in Las Vegas and her upcoming shows in the city.
The news source remembered that this is one of Britney's first shows since her fiasco at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards while performing "Gimme More."
The 24-year old Australian rapper, who debuts her appearance in 2011 for her album Ignorant Art, was given 12 nominations in this year's Billboard, Bustle said.
Her number of nominations, according to the news source, is 'jaw-dropping' considering that she is 'relatively a new artist' in the music industry.
She was nominated in categories like Top New Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Album, Top Hot 100 Song, Top Streaming Song, Top Rap Song, and Billboard Chart Achievement Award.
