Microsoft recently unleashed Surface 3 laplet but there's still uncertainty over the arrival of Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

According to Christian Times, the new devices should be launched next week, specifically on May 20. This is being confirmed by Slash Gear which claimed that the Surface Pro 4 reveal would be in mid-May.

However, another school of rumors suggest that the Surface Pro 4 will be released along with Windows 10, likely in July.

The Verge recently confirmed that the Windows 10 was arriving in July. It quoted AMD president and CEO Lisa Su who said: "With the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up."

"The Surface Pro 3 is selling just as well as it did when it first came out. Even though people expected a June or July release for the Pro 4, it probably won't happen until Windows 10 is released. That way, Microsoft could capitalize on both Windows 10 and the new Surface Pro at the same time," industry analyst Paul Mueller was quoted as saying on Inquisitr.

Surface Pro 4 will be an "enhanced version" of Surface Pro 3 and the only improvement is going to be the processor. The laplet is also being rumored to be LTE-capable.

Microsoft has not yet confirmed any of these reports or speculations.
