Google announced a new MyGlass update to include Notification Sync feature for Glass.

Google, the world's largest internet search company, is continuing to improve its coveted computer tech eyewear. In the latest round of updates, the web giant boosted the Google Glass software with a new Notification Sync feature. The addition is seen as one of the most important features for Glass owners, as they will no longer have to check their smartphones for all new notifications.

In an official Google+ post, the web giant said all smartphone notifications, such as a new WhatsApp message or a new tagged photo on social network, will be shown in the line of sight through Google Glass' interface. The feature will be added to the Glass through a MyGlass update version 3.3.0, which will begin rolling out Wednesday.

"Today we're launching Notification Sync on Glass, which means you can see your Android phone app notifications at a glance," Google said in an official G+ post, Tuesday. "You may have already seen this with Android Wear, but now when you put Glass on, you can get the information you need when you need it-all without taking your phone out of your pocket."

Google also tagged a video to show how to activate the Notification Sync feature on Glass. It requires users to first install the update and pair the smartphone to the Glass. Navigate into the Settings page of the Glass app on the smartphone and turn on the new Notification Sync feature. Confirm the changes and see all notification dropped on the virtual Glass screen.

Google's Notification Sync feature was first introduced in Android Wear, the platform for wearable smartphones. The relay functionality was limited to smartwatches running the OS, but the latest update is all about bringing the useful feature to the Glass.

Google has constantly improved the overall experience on the Glass, with additions like the ability to access all contacts and multiple options.
