Selma Blair has been casted as Kris Jenner on FX's "American Crime Story: The People V OJ Simpson," Entertainment Weekly announced on Monday.

The TV series will be focused on the Simpson's murder trial, which took place in the 1990s. Simpson was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman in 1994. Simpson's defense council included Robert Kardashian, who was married to Jenner at the time of the trial.

Blair, 42, is known for her roles in "Cruel Intentions" and "Legally Blonde." More recently, she had been starring in TV shows, such as "Anger Management."

She will join the growing list of actors. So far, "Friends" alum David Schwimmer has been casted as Kardashian, John Travolta will play Robert Shapiro and Cuba Gooding Jr. will play Simpson. Sarah Paulson (Marcia Clark), Courtney B. Vance (Johnnie Cochran), Connie Britton (Faye Resnick) and Jordana Brewster (Denise Brown) are on the cast as well.

The series is being produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. "American Crime Story: The People V OJ Simpson" has started filming in Los Angeles.
