Lady Gaga, the "Alejandro" hitmaker and Tony Bennett, the Jazz maestro, appeared on the Today Show Tuesday morning and announced that their latest collaboration "Cheek to Cheek" will be released September 23, 2014.

"Cheek to Cheek" is a second collaboration for Gaga and Bennett where the duo have handpicked songs from the Great American Songbook, which has compositions by Duke Ellington, Irving Berlin, George & Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter and Billy Strayhorn. The album will also include "Tony's longtime quartet, the NYC jazz quintet."

"Cheek To Cheek evokes the artistic visions of both Tony & Gaga with respect for the traditions of the jazz genre, but with a modern twist that makes the album quintessentially Tony & Gaga," the official website states.

"The collaboration has just been so wonderful," Gaga explained to Savannah Guthrie. "It's so natural singing with Tony," she added.

"I love the way she sings," Bennett told Today's Carson Daly.

Gaga has been promoting their album actively on social media outlets as well. She posted a picture from the Today Show announcement on Instagram captioning it:

"We just announced 'Cheek to Cheek' our Jazz Collaboration Out September 23 #56days."

"Making our jazz album announcement LIVE on NBC #cheektocheek what a beautiful day," she captioned another photo.

The duo have unveiled a studio version of their first single duet "Anything Goes." The song is available on iTunes and you can check out the video below:
