Google I/O 2015 is appearing to be one interesting conference, thanks to the rumors and "accidental leaks." After briefly mentioning the next release of Android, Android M, the company is being tipped to include finer user privacy controls.

Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter reported that the company is planning to give its mobile users more control over what information applications can access.

According to Gartner Inc, Android had 81 percent of the global smartphone market in 2014 while Apple's iOS had 15 percent.

The steps to include finer privacy controls in the Android is step forward toward seeking to attract more users.

Notably, pressure is growing on Android in some parts of world. Recently it was reported that in Europe's five largest countries, its shares fell to 69 percent in the first quarter from 72 percent a year before. Meanwhile the iOS share rose to 20.3 percent from 18.6 percent.

Apple's iOS already has few more privacy controls than Android, however Google Google definitely improved the experience in Lollipop.
