The newest installment of Star Wars may be months away from its release on December, but spoilers of its cast and some juicy information revealing some bits of information about its plot have been revealed during the Vanity photoshoot.

According to Hero Complex, the photoshoot is for Vanity's upcoming June issue. Star Wars fans, however, need not to wait until June for its release as a promotional video shoot by legendary photographer, Annie Leibovitz gives a glimpse of exclusive on-set images and performers who will surely be in this J.J. Abrams-directed film.

One of the most anticipated villains for this film is "Girls" star Adam Driver, said to play Kylo Ren in the movie. Award-winner, Lupita Nyong is also expected to play the pirate named Maz Kanata

Oscar Isaac is also said to play an ace X-Wing pilot with a name like Poe Dameron. With him in the video are Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow and Andy Serkis.

One of "Star Wars" main actors, Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) had earlier revealed on Twitter that Gwendoline Christie will be playing Captain Phasma, described as a First Order officer, Variety reports.

"The lovely Gwendoline Christie (@lovegwendoline) as the not so lovely Captian Phasma," Peter Mayhew announced on May 5.

As to its plot changes, Director J.J. Abrams revealed that one point he was thinking of the classic character Jar Jar Binks, The Telegraph said.

"I have a thought about putting Jar Jar Binks's bones in the desert there. I'm serious! Only three people will notice, but they'll love it."

The director also revealed that he cannot totally get away with 'old-school' Star Wars effects but he promised to make a more improved version with digital effects.

"We just buried it in the sand, and Neal Scanlan, the creature guy, pushed down on one side and the thing came up on the other side. It's so old-school and crazy. We could improve this thing, but at some point do we lose the wonderful preposterousness?" he said.
