Google Employee says, Nexus 9 Update to be released soon

While owners of the Nexus 9 tablet are still waiting for the over-the-air (OTA) update from the 5.0.1, officials have confirmed that the update is not too far.

Sascha Pruter, Senior Program Manager for Android, said, "Nexus 9 OTA's aren't far out".

The Nexus 9 runs on a 64-bit Nvidia processor. The Nvidia processor has a history of being a little difficult with support for Nexus devices using their chipset. This can probably be the speculated issue for the developers.

Sascha Pruter, Senior Program Manager for Android said, "I don't know the timeline. So saying anything would be a speculative and not helpful at all. The team is battling with some last minute bugs and once these are addressed we will roll update out as fast as possible".
