Instruments from Tool kit on Google Doodle for Labour Day

Google Doodle greets users on the 1st Day of May with items from the tool kit to celebrate World Labour Day.

The home screen of the Google search displays tools such as a pair of gloves, measuring tape, a wrench, and a role of insulating tape along with a few spare screws and nuts thrown in for good measure., all of which form the Google Doodle in the home page.

The Labour Day adheres to the philosophy of having a 8 hour work day, so that one can have the next 16 hours for rest and recreation. It is celebrated in countries like Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Mexico, China, Israel, Nepal, Pakistan, France, and others.

All of the 80 countries which celebrate the Labour Day observe the 1st day of May as a national holiday.

Google has another doodle for France where 2st of May is also known as Premier Mai, the labour day origins date back to 1st May, 1886.
