Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill Relationship Update: Drake May Have Leaked Star Couple's Secret Engagement [VIDEO]
Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are still keeping their engagement under wraps, but did rapper Drake just confirm that the couple is in fact engaged?
During a stellar performance at Coachella, Drake welcomed his friend and music collaborator, Nicki Minaj, up on stage.
"Coachella. You gotta make some noise for like the love of my life. I love this girl right here. We family forever," said Drake in his introduction for Minaj. "You know when that girl you had a crush on and s-- start being with someone else you gotta be like, 'yo, congratulations and all that, you know what I'm saying," he coyly said.
At this point,, the engagement is nothing more than a rumor, but Drake's use of the word "congratulations" may imply that he has greater knowledge of his close friend's nuptials than we do.
When she came up onstage, she gave Drake a big hug and a stunning diamond heart-shaped ring flashed for all to see. Nicki posted a pic of the ring on her finger last week, but didn't really say anything about it. Meek posted, "I wish every night could feel like last night."
Minaj did somewhat confirmed the two were dating back in February during an interview with Vogue.
"Sometimes we hang out, and when we hang out, we have fun. [laughs] This is what I want to say about him," she explained. "People think for some strange reason that we just started becoming friends recently. We've been friends for a very, very long time, and he's been around for a lot of things that I've gone through. And that's all I'll say about that."
