Google has teamed up with T-Mobile and Sprint to unleash $20/month wireless service. However, right now to be a part of the project, customers need to ask Google for an invite.

Before, asking to participate in the 'early access program,' you also need to have a Nexus 6 device. Interested participants can sign up to get in the pool for when the Google network launches.

"We're sending a small number of Project Fi invites each week, but rest assured that you're on our list. You'll get your invitation in the coming weeks, and we hope to make that happen sooner rather than later," states the blog, which also offers up a link regarding the invite process.

For Project fi, Google has teamed up with not one but two carrier - Sprint and T-Mobile - to provide Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity. The service will tap either of the two providers during use.

$20 per month will get you unlimited text and calls. Add $10 more per GB for data.

In case you have unused data for a particular month, it will be forwarded to the next month.

Project Fi likely appears to be a big boon for those who travel abroad and domestic.
