The White House may be barred like a castle against terrorist attacks, but one four-year-old found a way to squeeze in through the bars of the fence, creating an embarrassing security breach in America's first house, during the weekend, according to Washington Post.

Secret Service agents raced out of the White House door on Sunday afternoon with their guns drawn out, once they received reports of another security breach.

There was a small flurry for a few moments at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but the intruder's intentions soon got amply clear.

According to CNN, President Barack Obama's address to the US on Iraq was delayed due to a security breach on the North Lawn of the White House.

"Update on brief security scramble at the White House prior to departure: It was just a child," the Weekly Standard reported Sunday.

According to the child was reported to be fine and reunited with the parents. Brian Leary, a spokesman for the U.S. Secret Service, said Monday that the child "didn't get through the fence" and onto the lawn..

In the last eight months, toddlers have got into the White House twice, by compromising security near the executive mansion. Last August, the White House was "invaded" by a toddler at the north gate fence, which sent Secret Service agents across the lawn.

"We were going to wait until he learned to talk to question him, but in lieu of that he got a timeout and was sent on [his] way with his parents," a spokesperson for the agency explained.

The infants are the youngest security breachers, for there were one or two others recently. The Metropolitan Police Department in Washington DC said that recently, a Secret Service agent was taken in on charges of attempted burglary. On March 4, a couple of Secret Service agents drove through an active crime scene and are being investigated.
