The Boston Celtics are headed for the playoffs and they can thank Jae Crowder for helping them clinch the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference.

In Tuesday night's game against the Toronto Raptors, Crowder made a tough one-legged fadeaway jump shot with 0.8 seconds left on the clock to get the 95-93 win.

The loss meant that the Raptors, who rested DeMar DeRozen, could not finish as the third seed in the conference. They will face the Washington Wizards, who lost to the Pacers 95-99 in double overtime, finished in the number five spot.

The Celtics will meet the second-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs and Crowder is more than ready.

"I'm ready to go to war with these guys," Crowder said after the game. "I'm ready to go to war. Let the rest take care of itself. I think everybody in this locker room, each man, will be ready to go to war. It's the playoffs; we're actually playing for something. We all know it. You've got your fans behind you, you've got your city behind you -- it's exciting for us."

Evan Turner, who scored 14 points, added, "We have to go play Milwaukee [on Wednesday], try to finish off the season right. Going to Cleveland, we will once again have to play tough and bring the physicality. If not, we've seen what they've done to us prior to the past couple times we played them."

Celtics coach Brad Stevens also talked about playing against one of the best teams in the league. Stevens said, "Hey, to have a chance to compete against the very best in the league is a great opportunity. And, hey, it's a big mountain, but it is a great opportunity."

The Celtics and the Cavaliers have met four times this season. They split those games evenly.

The Celtics will finish the regular season on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
