Google Might Be Working On a Teleconferencing Platform

Google might be working on a teleconferencing platform that could let users host teleconferences and schedule or join important business meetings online at a click.

According to a leaked screenshots the tool is called GMeet, and right now its limited to Googlers. However it's possible to join an event as a guest with an event code or have an invite from an existing participants.

"Login currently appears to be limited to Googlers, so it's only possible for Googlers to create events. It's possible to join as a guest though, given you have an event code or know one of the participants," a Google+ user Florian Kiersch shared the details in a post.

According to the post, the new tool will also support Chrome extension.

Google Hangouts for Work Gets Chat Privacy Features

Google Hangouts for work has been updated with two new privacy features that will allow IT administration manage the chat privacy for users in an organization. Google will roll out the admin option over the next few days that will let administrator manage Hangouts chat history for their organization. Administrators can also turn it on or off as per requirement.
